ABC Kid TV is the second name for cocomelon. It had the last video "Jack Be Nimble plus More Rhymes & Kids Songs" around January 2017 when it was named ABC Kid TV. This featured a bot speaking with a child-robot voice. It had 2D animation until it changed to cocomelon. It aired in September 2006 with its first video called "ABC Song". According to The List, the creators changed the name to cocomelon because they thought the name was more "universal and fun for children," and they were right. It was named like that from 2013-2018. There was a name before this name: Checkgate.
On June 29, 2023, a new channel was launched using the ABCkidTV brand.
