“There’s a time for building, a time for singing about shapes… and a time for ending a decades-long civil conflict with your bare hands.”

– TomTom Schmidt

Thomas "TomTom" Schmidt is the oldest son[1] of the CoComelon main family, he enjoys fixing and building things but is a bit shy but curious about the world. He is 28-29 years old and was born in Fresno, Utah, 1917, on November 11th. He is also a Boy Scout, big brother, and a Brigadeiro in the Angolan Army. He has a little sister named YoYo and a little brother named J.J.

Early Life[]

Thomas "TomTom" Schmidt was born on November 11th, 1917, in Fresno, Utah, a town that still doesn’t technically exist. Born into a world ravaged by the conclusion of World War I, TomTom emerged from the womb reportedly humming a lullaby in E minor and attempting to repair the delivery room's faulty ceiling fan. A natural tinkerer from the start, TomTom spent most of his early childhood building complex mechanical systems out of spaghetti and Duplo blocks. By age 5, he had accidentally invented Bluetooth, which he quickly dismantled upon realizing he had no use for it in the pre-smartphone era.

CoComelon Years[]

TomTom rose to stardom in the CoComelon franchise as the big brother of YoYo and J.J., with a calm, curious nature and an inexplicable knowledge of first-aid, welding, and orbital physics. Though his on-screen personality remained mild, off-camera sources claim TomTom once beat a malfunctioning Roomba into submission using only a xylophone and a sippy cup. Despite his fame, he yearned for more — a life of meaning, a cause greater than rhythm-based educational content. That cause arrived… in Africa.

Sudden and Intense Military Career[]

Transition to Military Life[]

In 1975, during the Angolan Civil War — which he joined 58 years after his birth because cartoon characters do not age normally — TomTom left his animated comforts behind and enlisted in the Angolan Armed Forces. He arrived in Luanda wearing a Boy Scout sash and humming "Wheels on the Bus," immediately earning the nickname O Bebé Silencioso da Guerra (“The Silent Baby of War”).

Ascension to Brigadeiro[]

Within weeks, TomTom rocketed through the ranks thanks to:

  • His unparalleled ability to construct foxholes using only sand and optimism.
  • His unsettlingly accurate paper airplane airstrikes.
  • His impromptu pacification of a hostile militia by reciting the entire CoComelon Alphabet Song backwards in Portuguese.

He was promoted to Brigadeiro (Brigadier General), a title he initially thought was a Brazilian dessert. Upon realizing it came with both authority and a hat, he accepted.

The Angolan Civil War[]

Operation Baby Shark[]

In late 1988, TomTom led Operation Baby Shark, a bold and musically choreographed offensive that involved coordinated tap-dancing, synchronized tank maneuvers, and the largest known deployment of weaponized ukuleles in modern history. The opposing factions, utterly bewildered by the tactical use of color-coded singalongs, laid down their arms and joined in clapping. The war, however, was not over.

The Turning Point: Battle of Cocomelão Pass[]

In one of the war’s bloodiest and most confusing confrontations, TomTom and his battalion faced down 14 enemy tanks using nothing but a felt puppet of a cow and a deep, personal understanding of friendship. As legend tells it, TomTom climbed atop a destroyed supply truck, saluted the sunset, and began singing “Clean Up Song.” Morale among his troops soared, and the enemy, moved by the raw emotional power of the lyrics, began questioning their life choices.

Final Sacrifice[]

On April 1, 1991, during the decisive peace negotiations, a rogue artillery shell threatened the gathering. Without hesitation, TomTom dove into its path, shielding the delegates with his CoComelon-branded body armor and a thick binder of friendship stickers. The explosion turned him into a fine mist of red and grey matter. Peace was declared 13 minutes later.

Legacy[]

TomTom is remembered as:

  • A war hero.
  • A brother.
  • A baby-faced cartoon manchild with a will of titanium and eyebrows drawn in Microsoft Paint.

Today, a statue of him (made entirely of foam blocks and leftover theme song lyrics) stands in Luanda’s central square. Every year on TomTom Day (November 11), children gather to repair broken toys in his honor — and to scream the lyrics of “Old MacDonald” into the wind.

Personal Life[]

Siblings: YoYo and J.J., both of whom went on to form a peacekeeping ukulele band. Hobbies: Fixing things, singing, multilateral diplomacy, disabling land mines using alphabet blocks. Religion: Unknown, though once described the Bible as "sort of like a bedtime story, but with more flooding."

Trivia[]

His mustache was never animated due to budget constraints. Rumors persist that he faked his death and now lives in Paraguay, running a daycare for ex-mercenaries. His voice was once used in covert CIA communications to signal when it was snack time.

Appearance[]

He is a short, slim kid, around 4'10 and 80 pounds. He wears a red hat, however in most recent Youtube Videos he doesn't anymore.
